Eagles, Eagles, Eagles

Cleaning up the muse area. The Eagles cannot fly so someone has to keep their home tidy.

Let the Youth Soar High!

I've had the wonderful experience to work with four very fantastic young ladies in helping them earn a very high award -The Gold Award in Girl Scouts.
These girls have spent the last three summers learning how to become Eagle handlers which includes giving presentations, preparing food, cleaning the muse. Next year they plan to spend a part of their summer working with the Eagles once again. And I have even been promised that I can hold an Eagle next summer!

Beautiful and Magestic

Wow, meet Harriet one of the Eagles my youth group is working with to earn their Gold Award. Harriet can't fly. She makes lots of visits to vet's in the hospital and does other educational visits. You may have even seen her on TV with one of her handlers.
It is quite the experience to be working with these lovely birds and watching young adults have the experience of a lifetime!

The Little Nest

Here is home. It is quite cozy, big enough for a family of three, sometimes more. It is actually over 6 feet in diameter!
